Oh take me home!

In 3 short nights I will be on East Coast land!

This girl is pretty excited, so excited I really do not know how I am going to work the rest of the week. I have been a pretty big spaz staring at my comp for 8 hours straight these past few days.
I also have had WAY too much work to do which makes this all so much harder. Whatever happened to the slow months in the summer time?! I thought for sure I would be skating by starting June 1st. WRONG!
Guess that's a good thing for my wedding fund though.

SIDE NOTE: this "wedding fund" slowly turned into our laundry fund once we moved to our new apartment and have had to deal with a coin operated washer and dryer. URGH!

Back to the real topic here, HOME!

We haven't visited home since October and as fast as the time has gone by, I feel it. I feel the EXTREME longing to be HOME.

We have such a jam packed week seeing EVERYONE, legit every last person I need to see WILL be seen!

On top of seeing all of our favorite people and eating at all of our favorite Massachusetts restaurants (mainly Sweet Basil in Needham, if you live in Mass you need to CHECK IT!) we have a list of wedding related things we need to get accomplished!

After this trip we will probably only make 2 to 3 more trips home to tie up all our wedding details, which makes this trip a BIG one to get things locked down!

I have only dedicated one full day of wedding day fun, Eddie is of course beyond himself with excitement anticipating this day..

10:00 am- 11:30 am checking out Hotels
mainly this Holiday Inn, fingers cross the inside isn't as cold looking as the outside!

11:45 am lunch at possible rehearsal dinner location ( Scarlet Oak Tavern )

1:30 pm Meeting with Priest

2:30 p.m. checking out transportation options.. I have my heart set on a Trolley!

In between all of this we will be scouting the area figuring out how far things are from each other and keeping an eye out for good spots for pictures google map can only take you so far!

Andd of course I have a day of dress trying on planned with my mom and cousin, I WILL find THE DRESS!

Wish me luck on the rest of the work week, I need it!

Sparkly Shoes

Memorial day weekend wandering through the shoe sale at Nordstrom half awake I found THE shoes.

THE shoes I HAD to have for my wedding day, and they were on sale! So what does any girl do with over a year to go until her wedding and who hasn't even bought a wedding dress yet do.

She buys the shoes, DUH.

Am I crazy?

They just looked so cute and comfy and perfect for our day!

(please disregard my gym clothes attire and laundry and focus on the feeties!)

And hey, I could always be a 2-pair-of-shoes-on-your-wedding-day-kinda-girl! Because this girl may need to sport some sort of a heel for part of the day!

In 1 YEAR from today...

I will be marrying...

THIS GUY! :)
AND I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER TO BE HIS MRS. FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES!

I can't believe we've already been engaged just a month short of one year. Boy how time flies when your having fun, and yes we've had insane amounts of fun to make the time fly!

But now, its GAME TIME. I am throwing myself into 100% wedding planning for the next 365 days.

Starting with my skin care regimen, when I got my FIRST facial EVER a few months ago I'm pretty sure I heard the esthetician gasp at my poorly taken care of skin.

For the past few months I've sworn by the Boscia Black Mask
and I still think its pretty darn amazing.
But at 34 bucks a bottle I figured I'd give another, more wedding-budget friendly, product a try.

In the above picture I have the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque on. For 30 dollars less than Boscia it still does a great job at making my face feel cleaner, softer and tighter while minimizing pores.
Best part about this little guy is that it works great at fighting acne. Although I don't get too many breakout's, I like to know that I have something on my shelf to fight them when I need it!
I'm still debating on taking the plunge to buy a Clarisonic, such a pricey gadget but I've heard such great things!

Now on to celebrating, well, after I bang out a quick 8 hours at work, Happy 9th of June!
