Deets: Flowers

I couldn't be more thrilled with how lovely everything came together on the wedding day!
Nicole at Blooms of Hope produced the most beautiful arrangements! They worked great in dressing up the venue! I'd say we had a pretty moderate budget on flowers. There was definitely plenty more places we could've decorated with them at the venue and the church (we opt'd for no flowers at the church).

 My bouquet

Bridesmaids Bouquet with material from my dress wrapped around the stems

Flower girl pomanders

The bout's, Eddie's in pink and the Groomsmen in white.

For the mothers and grandmothers we had them wear wristlets, you can see my mom's here.

We lined the Anthropolgie mugs filled with flowers behind the escort cards.

Pitcher full of flowers next to guest book and card box

Cocktail Hour tables

Table Centerpieces, alternated between birch wood vases, mercury glass, and a cluster of 3 different types of small vases.

The table numbers where provided by the venue, I was excited that they worked great with our style so that was one extra thing we didn't have to provide!

Our sweet heart table with my toss bouquet.

I love our Waterford Crystal toasting flutes!

The bridesmaids bouquets ended up also being lined around the table as well.

Our Cake with 2 perfect peonies. The topper was purchased from ReadyGo .

and my love for peonies will go on and on!

Butterflies: The First Look!

Before I recap this moment, I have to say how much I loved our photographer's style, as I look at all our pictures I really feel like she did a great job telling OUR story through her pictures.  I realize this style may not be for everyone, but it was exactly what we wanted, I am so thrilled we picked Katie to document this very special day.

So this was happening, I was finally going to see Eddie. I shouldn't say FINALLY because the whole morning FLEW by. Especially the last 2 hours, everything was go go go and before I knew it, it was 3:30, time to finally see HIM!

The scenery around the hotel left much to be desired, but we made due and found a nice little nook to say "HI" to one another!

he waits.. and waits....

I'm coming hold your horses!!

legit felt like the longest walk EVER!

I'm so close yet you can't see me yet!

I was so FLIPPING nervous to see him... legit butterflies.

And then I just about lost it! My whole body bent in half, I loved this moment!

We kissed.. .

We told eachother how damn good we looked ...

He admired & fluffed my dress...

Then we made way to get on our sweet Trolly Ride...

Miss. Josephine

As we departed from the hotel "Going To The Chapel" was blaring.

...And we were off to gain husband and wife status!

Deets: Paper Things

For our invites (blogged about them here), menus, ceremony programs & thank you cards we used Mayla Studios.

Invites:

Barbara, the owner, was amazing to work with. I really had so much ambition to make all of the paper goods myself at the beginning of the wedding process, but I am so glad I gave control to Mayla Studios. She personalized them perfectly for us! She is currently hosting a giveaway, for a set of 25 Thank you cards!! Like Mayla Studios' Facebook page to be entered to win. Once she hits 200 likes she will pick a winner!!

When I received this beautiful package in the mail months ago (which feels like YEARS ago) I couldn't wait to share with everyone!

Beautiful packaging!

For our Ceremony Programs we used our Monogram from the invites but added the "G" for our last name! I loved how cohesive everything was.

My grandmother reading the program

Our Menus may very well be one of my favorite details of the day, they came out darling!!!

We used the bottom of the menu to let people know where they could find copies of their photobooth photos!

The menus were tucked into light pink napkins. The colored napkins were a last minute addition and I'm so glad we SPLURGED ;) for the .50 cent rental per napkin!

Barbara, the shop owner of Mayla Studios, ended up going on maternity leave right around the time of our wedding (which I knew well beforehand!!). I found an Etsy seller Little Paper Farmhouse to quickly make our escort cards, which I waited to the VERY last minute to decide on!
They came out great though!

After the wedding I was SO pleased with Mayla Studios that I went back to order our thank you cards!

Look how cute they came out!

So go LIKE Mayla Studios' facebook page to be entered into her giveaway!

Prepping: Men At Work!

While the girls were up at 6 am ready to face the day, the guys... they on the other hand, they all leisurely woke up around noon headed out for a long lunch then made their way back to the room to get ready...why do men always have everything so easy?!

Right before our first look I had my maid of honor, Collette,  head down to Eddie's room to hand over the rings and my special gifts to him. I'm pretty sure for the FIRST run he answered the door in his boxers and they had to have a "redo" ohhhh the little details!

She had him open one gift in front of the camera!

gift #1 was an album of a boudoir photo shoot I did for him!

Gift #2 you can see peaking out of his sleeve here a TAG Heuer watch.. something he had eyed ever since we walked into the jewelry store for our wedding rings!

Then my photog got some great shots of men doing what they do best... stand around and drink beer?

This is one of my favorite shots of Ed & his best man Jim. Eddie prepping the hair, it took him .2 seconds to do his, it took approx. 1.5 hours to do mine...

Ed putting his thoughts together for the speech he was about to give at our reception.. it originally was supposed to be both of us speaking to everyone but I chickened out..

The bout! Which I LOVED! Our florist totally flew with this one, we had no idea what we wanted for these but she knew.. oh did she know, and she delivered these little perfections!

and to think, he was doing that as I was doing this...

having such an unforgettable moment with my mom and favorite ladies.. DYING to see my man!

 Up next... the first look!!!!!

Selling the dress!!

So after much debate, I've decided to put my wedding dress up for sale!
I love love love that darn dress so much, but to me it seems silly to hang on to. Especially since it's just making itself at home in my childhood bedroom which is across the country.. So it's not like I can throw it on whenever I want and dance around my apartment... which I so would be doing if I had it in m possession right now.. weird?! NOooo. of course not!

So my Jim Hjelm 8156 is for sale HERE.
