So after much debate, I've decided to put my wedding dress up for sale!
I love love love that darn dress so much, but to me it seems silly to hang on to. Especially since it's just making itself at home in my childhood bedroom which is across the country.. So it's not like I can throw it on whenever I want and dance around my apartment... which I so would be doing if I had it in m possession right now.. weird?! NOooo. of course not!
So my Jim Hjelm 8156 is for sale HERE.
It's such a beautiful dress! I'm sure it will make some future bride very happy!
ReplyDeletelove that picture, and I am also toying with the ideaa!! I can buying a freaking couch for that!!
ReplyDeleteOh know, I could never! But I know someone out there needs a dress, so you're doing a great thing. I guess I'm a tad too selfish or corny, LOL :)
ReplyDeleteYou looked amazing by the way!

hey! I did the same thing with my beloved alvina valenta :( it was hard to part with but with the cost of the gown it really is worth doing. A few pieces of advice: beware of scammers!! I was *this* close to getting scammed from a fake on preownedweddingdresses.com. And very importantly, be sure to draft up a contract or letter of agreement between you & the buyer. I ended up selling my dress to a girl and then almost a year later she tried telling me it had a stain on it and she was demanding a refund and if I didn't have a contract in place it could have gotten ugly. (I'd be happy to send you mine so you have a sample to look at). You can also try listing on powerbrides.com and recycledbride.com. Good luck! xx
ReplyDeleteps: you look abs gorgeous in all your wedding photos!!
GORGeous!
